  so proclaimed the brother that read the wt letter tonight that explained the new kingdom hall funding arrangement.. everyone in the hall claps .... well, like it was the last talk on the district convention.. he says 'what bank would wipe out a debt of $200,000 ???

  only jehovah's organization!

  The LEGAL DEPT must have gotten involved and decided they needed evidence that the $$$ was NOT related to a payback of loans - DOC

  I think you're onto something there. However, by just mentioning that the kind of money they were expecting was on par with at least the same amount as the mortgage payment, the elders are already primed with the notion of how much to kick in.

  HOWEVER, the congregation has NO IDEA what page 2 says, and will donate accordingly, i.e., not much.

  Their two levels of information may come back to bite them in the ass.

  ANNOMALY - I think that's exactly what will happen. Even my wife said Who is going to continue to contribute big bucks when it was just read from the stage that there is no more loan repayment?

  I mean, we're talking JWs here, the cheapest (and brokest) people on earth.

  Thanks for the insight on the sign biz and prices, INDIAN LARRY.

  I know when my local KH needed a new PA amplifier, the RBC directed the congregation to a "brother".

  He wanted to sell them a TOA mixer/amplifier for literally twice as much as you could get it for at Sam Ash - yet the brothers followed the "direction" of the RBC.

  Have also heard brothers experinced in commercial construction remark on how expensive RBC building materials are - all sourced by our fine "brothers".

  .. i am disturbed by some of the more aggressive apostates posting videos on youtube,like "a jw memorial to remember" where a drunk man goes to a memorial and downs the whole glass of wine as a sort of protest.

  this video and others like it received positive comments from aawa members.

  "Six Screens" ( whatever in the hell that means ) was my first internet run-in with apostates, and it lived up to all of the watchtower's propaganda.

  My Experience and how I finally let myself see the truth

  first off - for those lurkers who feel guilty just for being on this site and reading this (even if you don't read any further, as it is your right to choose that course) i want you to know that you're not alone in what you're going through or in what you are feeling.

  As far as your wife, take your time, this isn't a race. At least you know TTATT when you're 29 instead of 49.

  guess who gets sued for excommunication issues more than anybody else?.

  i am thinking about a legal aspect of excommunication that i have never seen challenged before - that is, in regard to published bylaws and the autonomy of individual churches (that are not part of a hierarchy).. i need to research it a bit more.. metatron.
